It Is Complicated

People are complicated. Boys. Girls. We make things complicated for multiple reasons. Some make things complicated because they're not getting what they want. They think life isn't fair. They think, maybe, just maybe if I make a scene. I'll get my way. Some people make things complicated because they got what they want, but don't believe they deserve it. They need someone to pick up their self worth when it's not the other persons price to pay. Some people make things complicated before things even happen. They constantly analyze what's going to happen instead of just diving head first into life to find out! Some people make things complicated by diving in too quickly, and failing to find the happy medium of thinking and acting. Sometimes we're meant to make life complicated. Sometimes we're meant to be lost in our actions and thoughts, constantly trying to see a way out. Sometimes we're meant to be lost because when we finally find what we're looking for we realize our complications really have led us to glorious revelations.

People are complicated. Boys. Girls. Then one day we meet someone who suddenly makes everything seem like it's less complicated. Not that our complications have gone away, but you simply face life's complications together, and you know that as long as you two have each other everything is going to be O.K. You feel peace through complications. You may fight and argue with that person, but you have faith in them that they'll never leave your side no matter what. 

Love is not a complicated. When you love someone you put that person first. Simple as that. Love is beautiful, and threatening, and hard, but never complicated. We make it complicated when we're too scared to act, too stubborn to respond, or too lazy to do what needs to be done to keep love's flame glowing. 

Love is not complicated. People are complicated. When one person loves someone and the other doesn't have feelings in return, who's feelings are in the wrong? I guess you know it's true love when you two will easily love each other back and forth. You two choose to be with each other and be good together no matter the complications. 

Just remember, you can go your whole life being complicated, not believing in love or that anyone good enough will come along, but remember that love isn't complicated and as long as you're doing what's right you'll find someone that will make the complications a little bit easier. Sometimes that person isn't ready for you or sometimes you're not ready for that person, but it is what it is. Be patient! Do what's right. Love who you can! Try to make life a little less complicated.
